Megan Maxwell

Megan Maxwell is a seasoned genetic counselor with extensive experience in both clinical and academic settings. Currently serving as the Lead Laboratory Genetic Counselor at University Health since January 2019, Megan also held the position of Laboratory Genetic Counselor. Prior teaching roles include instructing courses in Genetics of Health & Disease at the University of La Verne and Medical Genetics at California Baptist University. Previous experience includes serving as a Genetic Counselor Project Manager for The MilSeq Project at Genomes2People, and roles at Quest Diagnostics and GeneDx. Megan holds a Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from UC San Diego.
