Travis L. Smith

Travis L. Smith is currently the Deputy CFO at University Health System. Travis has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to their current position, they served as Vice President Finance for McLane Children's Hospital & Clinics from October 2014 to May 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic financial planning and operations of the hospital and physician practice organization. From August 2009 to October 2014, Travis served as Associate Vice President - Finance for Scott & White Healthcare. In this role, they provided financial operations support for the organization. Prior to that, they served as Controller for Health Management Associates from May 2008 to August 2009.

Travis L. Smith is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.). Travis went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a focus in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
