Lauren Ahern

Lauren Ahern is an experienced educator currently serving as a PreK Lead Teacher at University Heights Charter School since August 2017, where responsibilities include leading a mixed-age classroom, training co-teachers, and implementing individualized student goals using observation-based assessments. Previously, Lauren held the same position at Piccolo Elementary School, managing a hybrid program and integrating technology to enhance parent-teacher communication. Lauren's early career includes roles at City Year as a Corps Member and Resource Coordinator, a project manager at SMS Assist, and various internships that honed skills in event organization and community outreach. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Marketing, and Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
