Dr. Naresh Polisetti

Dr. Naresh Polisetti is a Senior Research Scientist at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg since May 2019, focusing on projects involving induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) for corneal cell therapy, particularly in the context of limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD). Prior to this role, Dr. Polisetti served as a Senior Scientist at University Klinkum, and as a Project Fellow at the University of Hyderabad. Additional experience includes post-doctoral positions at University Klinikum in Erlangen and Linköping University, as well as a role as a Research Fellow at L.V Prasad Eye Institute. Dr. Polisetti holds a Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology from the University of Hyderabad, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Acharya Nagarjuna University, and a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Food and Nutrition.
