Nana Talvard-Balland

Nana Talvard-Balland is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg since October 2021, following a PhD in Hematology/Immunology from Institut de Recherche Saint-Louis. Previous research experience includes a PhD role at Inserm U976 from September 2016 to October 2021 focused on the immune response in immunocompromised hosts, particularly examining MAIT cells in xenogeneic GVHD models. Early roles include a Master Degree Student at Institut Albert Bonniot studying apoptosis in Non-small cell lung cancer and various internships in ecotoxicology and mutagenesis projects at Lund University and other institutions.
