Steve Norris has extensive experience in the sheet metal and BIM (Building Information Modeling) industries, currently serving as a Sheet Metal Detailer at University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. since August 2020. Prior positions include Sheet Metal BIM Manager at Pan-Pacific Mechanical and Planning/BIM Manager at Limbach Company. Steve's career began with an apprenticeship at Air Mechanical, progressing through roles such as field foreman and general foreman at several companies, including Certified Air Technologies and Scott Co. Steve has managed various significant projects, including those for UCLA, USC, and several educational institutions, demonstrating a strong background in sheet metal detailing and project coordination. Educationally, Steve holds certifications in Revit, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project, along with a completed apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Technology from the Los Angeles Sheet Metal Workers JATC.
