Marguerite Pedley

SVP for Medical Affairs at Penn Medicine Princeton Health.

Marguerite Pedley, PhD, has served in a leadership position at Penn Medicine Princeton Health since joining the organization in 2008 and is now Senior Vice President of Princeton House Behavioral Health. In this role, she is the senior executive leader for both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. Dr. Pedley directly oversees a 110 bed behavioral health inpatient campus. Her responsibilities include personnel management, fiscal accountability, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, service excellence, and the oversight of both clinical and non-clinical departments. In addition, she maintains senior executive responsibility for Princeton House’s outpatient sites located in North Brunswick, Hamilton, Moorestown, Eatontown and Princeton.

Dr. Pedley has extensive experience in acute care behavioral health including oversight of a state-designated psychiatric screening service, psychiatric inpatient services, and inpatient medical detoxification units. She has secured several grants to support patient care initiatives, including the most recent award of $250,000 from the New Jersey Department of Health’s Integrated Health Services Division to reduce barriers and increase access to care for First Responders in need of acute behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. Earlier in her career she directed a cross-cultural counseling center for refugees and immigrants, which also provided training to regional health professionals.

Dr. Pedley is a graduate of the University of Scranton and a former Fulbright Fellow. She earned her masters and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton. She has been an active member of the Behavioral Health Constituency Group of the New Jersey Hospital Association and the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare (NABH) since 2009, serving on NABH’s Steering Committee on Behavioral Health Services within General Healthcare Systems since 2015.
