Melanie Hornberger

Melanie Hornberger, BSN, RN, currently serves as a Clinical Nurse 1 in the Critical Care Unit at Penn Medicine Princeton Health, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Melanie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, where responsibilities included patient observation, vital sign measurement, and assisting with daily nursing tasks. Additional experience includes providing support at the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and serving as a Behavioral Health Associate at Belmont Behavioral Health Hospital, where Melanie communicated with healthcare teams about patient behavior and assisted with goal-setting. Melanie also held administrative and counseling roles in children's care and emergency transport settings. Melanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in 2023 and holds a high school diploma from Cherokee High School, obtained in 2018.
