Cara Graninger

Cara Graninger is an experienced teaching artist and educator, currently serving as a Teaching Artist at The Art Experience, Inc. since January 2018, where engagement through dance improvisation and music supports students with cognitive and physical disabilities. In addition, Cara coordinates teaching artists for K-12 education programs at the University Musical Society, ensuring high-quality arts experiences. As the owner-operator of Cara Massage since 1998, Cara provides therapeutic massage services, specializing in Shiatsu, Thai-based, Swedish massage, and myofascial therapy. Previous leadership roles include serving as Executive Director at Living Arts in Detroit from January 2008 to February 2017. Cara Graninger holds a BA in English, Anthropology, and Gender Studies from Bard College.
