Daniel Epstein

Daniel Epstein is a seasoned professional in scientific research and laboratory management, currently serving as a Scientist II/Lab Manager at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since March 2022, with a focus on xenotransplantation and uterus transplant immunology utilizing advanced molecular biology techniques. Prior experience includes managing in vivo laboratory operations at Southern Research, supervising transnational research operations at the UAB School of Medicine and UT Southwestern, and fulfilling roles as a Clinical Research Associate and Research Associate in various capacities. Daniel holds an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and advanced degrees in Biotechnology and Neuroscience from The University of Texas at San Antonio and Centenary College of Louisiana, respectively.
