Tami Long

Tami Long, PhD, serves as the Director, Adjunct Faculty, and Program Coordinator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since August 2004, focusing on Employee Assistance Program (EAP) development, implementation, and promotion. Long has previous experience as the Founder/CEO of Trinity Family Builders, LLC, overseeing family support services and ensuring compliance with Medicaid standards. Prior roles include Clinical Coordinator at Hillcrest Behavioral Health, where clinical supervision and therapy for residents were primary responsibilities, and various counseling positions at Chilton Shelby Mental Health and Limestone County Mental Health Center. Long holds a Ph.D. in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of North Alabama.
