Jared Wesley

Jared Wesley is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Alberta, where Jared has held various roles since May 2011, including Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Associate Chair of Graduate Studies. Specializing in comparative provincial politics, policy, and bureaucracy, Jared is leading the development of a new graduate program in policy studies. Previously, Jared served in the Government of Alberta, where leadership roles included Director of Learning and Development Policy at the Alberta Public Service Commission and Director of Intergovernmental Relations. Jared's academic background includes a BA from the University of Alberta, an MA from the University of Manitoba, and a PhD from the University of Calgary.
