Natalia Semagina

Natalia Semagina is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in chemical and materials engineering. Currently serving as the Director of the Institute for Oil Sands Innovation and a Professor at the University of Alberta since August 2008, Natalia has held various academic positions including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Prior to this role, Natalia was a Research Associate at EPFL from March 2005 to September 2007 and held assistant professorship and senior lecturer positions at Tver State Technical University from September 2000 to December 2004. Natalia obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry with a focus on chemical kinetics and catalysis and holds a University Diploma in Biotechnology, both from Tver State Technical University.
