Nokuthula Sithole

Nokuthula Sithole, CPA-CA, CA(Z), MBA, CIA, currently serves as the Executive Director of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management at the University of Alberta, responsible for leading internal audit functions and risk management initiatives. Previously, Nokuthula held the position of Director of Internal Audit Services at Alberta Health Services, where significant contributions included establishing an internal controls department and enhancing financial reporting processes. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at Deloitte Canada, overseeing audit assignments and staff performance. Nokuthula possesses an extensive educational background with multiple degrees in Accounting and Finance, including an MBA from Durham University and chartered accountant designations from both Alberta and Zimbabwe.
