Ravi Narine

Ravi Narine has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ravi has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise in human resources, organizational development, and business analysis.

Most recently, Ravi has been working at the University of Alberta since 2022 as the Director of HR Service Partnerships, where they oversee and manages HR service-related initiatives.

Prior to that, Ravi worked at the Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) from 2018 to 2022. During their time there, they served as the Chief of Staff to the President and CEO, providing advisory support and ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Before their role as Chief of Staff, Ravi held multiple positions at APS, including Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development from 2013 to 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading HR and OD strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Ravi also gained experience as an Organizational Development Consultant at Covenant Health in 2012 and as a Strategic Business Analyst at the City of Edmonton from 2010 to 2012. In these positions, they focused on organizational changes, workforce planning, and enhancing operational effectiveness.

Earlier in their career, Ravi worked as a Business Analyst at the Government of Alberta from 2008 to 2009 and at the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago (PETROTRIN) from 2001 to 2008.

Ravi Narine has a Master of Science degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Roehampton, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a BBA Hons degree in Management from the University of Lincoln from 2004 to 2007. In terms of secondary education, Ravi Narine attended Naparima College from 1980 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including becoming a Chief of Staff with Brian Rumao through LinkedIn in 2019, and being a Certified Coach Practitioner through the Certified Coaches Federation in 2018.
