Wei/David Liu

Wei/David Liu, PhD, is a seasoned academic and program administrator at University of Alberta International, where responsibilities include overseeing the Global Academic Leadership Development (GALD) Program and coordinating international graduate recruitment since 2012. Prior to this role, Wei/David served as a Horowitz Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Research for Teacher Education and Development from 2011 to 2012 and held the position of Assistant Professor in Foreign Language Education at Shandong University at Weihai from 2006 to 2008. Wei/David's educational background includes a Postdoctoral degree in Teacher Education and Professional Development from the University of Alberta, a PhD in Foreign Language Education and Teacher Education from Beijing Normal University, a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Shandong University, and a Bachelor’s degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Dalian University of Foreign Languages.
