Carlos Rebato Barredo

Carlos Rebato Barredo currently serves as Jefe de Servicio in the Subdirección General de Países Mediterráneos, África y Oriente Medio at the SECRETARÍA DE ESTADO DE COMERCIO, a position held since September 2021. Carlos has extensive experience in commercial diplomatic roles, including serving as Agregado Comercial in the Office of the Economic and Commercial Attaché at the Embassy of Spain in Doha, Qatar, and as Agregado Comercial Jefe in La Paz, Bolivia. Academic involvement includes positions as a Colaborador honorífico and Profesor Asociado at UNIVERSIDAD DE ALICANTE since September 2011. Prior roles include Agregado de Política Comercial at the European Commission Delegation in Seoul and various leadership positions within Spain's Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and CASA MEDITERRANEO. Carlos holds an MBA in International Business from CECO and degrees in Market Research and Techniques and Sociology and Marketing from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche and University of Alicante, respectively.
