Lilia Maliar is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in economics, currently serving as a Professor at The Graduate Center, City University of New York since August 2018, and as a Lecturer at Stanford University since July 2013, where Lilia teaches core microeconomics for non-Economics Ph.D. students. In addition, Lilia has been a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, since August 2008, focusing on computational economics and numerical methods for dynamic economic models. Lilia has held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Alicante since September 1999, where Lilia teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in macroeconomics and development economics. Lilia also served as a Visiting Professor at EERC/Kyiv School of Economics from January 2000 to May 2010. Lilia holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Business from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master of Arts in Economics from Central European University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dnipropetrovs'kij Nacional'nij Universitet.
