Rafael Maestre is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in electronics and computer engineering. Currently serving as the Director of the Electronics Department at CETEM since July 2008, Rafael coordinates R&D projects focused on Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and eHealth. Additionally, Rafael holds adjunct professor positions at Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche and the University of Alicante, teaching courses on general electronics, embedded systems, and software architecture. Rafael's previous roles include staff engineer at Qualcomm, director of software tools and DSP firmware at Morpho Technologies, and assistant professor at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Rafael earned a PhD in Computer Engineering and an MSc in Physics with specialization in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
