Yoan Gutiérrez Vázquez

Yoan Gutiérrez Vázquez is an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the University of Alicante, where responsibilities include serving as the technical manager of projects since May 2013. Yoan has extensive academic experience as a full-time lecturer and part-time lecturer, alongside a post-doctoral researcher position at the Departamento de Lenguajes y Sistemas Informáticos from January 2009 to the present. With a Doctorate in Computer Science, Yoan specializes in Natural Language Processing, focusing on semantic resource development, semantic ambiguity resolution, and applications in document classification, opinion mining, sentiment analysis, and textual entailment. Prior to current roles, Yoan was a professor at Matanzas University from September 2007 to July 2014 and completed a degree in Computer Engineering at Matanzas University from 2002 to 2007.
