Mounia Lalmas-Roelleke

Mounia Lalmas-Roelleke is currently the Senior Director of Research at Spotify, a position held since November 2017, following a promotion to Head of Tech Research in 2018. Mounia also serves as a Distinguished Research Fellow at the University of Amsterdam and an Honorary Professor at University College London. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Research at Yahoo, where Mounia led the development of models for mobile native ads, and as Research Professor at the University of Glasgow, supported by Microsoft Research. Mounia's academic career began with various positions at universities, including Queen Mary, University of London, and University of Windsor. Mounia holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow and an engineering degree from Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène'.
