Karin Dobernig

Karin Dobernig serves as the Head of the Institute for Sustainability at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt since January 2016 and is also a Teaching and Research Associate Post-Doc. In addition, Karin holds the position of National Expert on the European Higher Education Area with OeAD I Österreichischer Austauschdienst since 2019. Previous roles include Research Associate Post-Doc and Research and Teaching Associate Prae-Doc at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration from September 2016 to June 2021 and February 2010 to July 2015, respectively, as well as a Visiting Research Scholar at New York University in 2013. Karin earned a Doctorate in Social and Economic Sciences with a major in Socioeconomics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and holds a Master of Arts in International Business Consultancy from Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt.
