Arya Basu

Arya Basu, Ph.D., currently serves as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Research Fellow at the Donaghey Emerging Analytics Center, focusing on 3D visualization and human-computer interaction. As an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports and Associate Editor for PRESENCE - Virtual and Augmented Reality, Arya contributes to the academic community by evaluating manuscripts and overseeing the peer review process. Previous roles include Lead Instructor at the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship and Visual Information Specialist II at Emory University, where Arya developed 3D models and digital media for various projects. Arya's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Georgia and a B.Tech in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology.
