Nichola Raihani is a Professor of Evolution & Behaviour at both UCL and The University of Auckland, positions held since October 2011 and October 2023, respectively. Raihani is also a Senior Research Fellow at UCL and has served as a Royal Society University Research Fellow at The Royal Society from October 2011 to October 2023. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Zoological Society of London from October 2008 to October 2011 and completing a DPhil in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge from October 2004 to May 2008. Additionally, Raihani has contributed to literature as an author for The Social Instinct since December 2019. Educational background includes a BA Hons in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
