Matt Cole

Matt Cole is an accomplished academic and engineer with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Director at the University of Bath since May 2017, Matt Cole leads initiatives at the Centre for Advanced Materials & Processes, overseeing research strategy and ethical standards. In addition, Matt Cole is the Director of Cambridge Xray Systems and has held various prestigious fellowships at the University of Cambridge, including the International Young Scientist Research Fellow and Oppenheimer Research Fellow. Previous roles include Consultant Engineer at AIXTRON AG and Lead Research Scientist at Cambridge CMOS Sensors Ltd. Matt Cole earned a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MEng (Hons) in Engineering Sciences from the University of Oxford.
