Sasa Radovanovic

Sasa Radovanovic serves as the Institute Director and Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Medical Research since 1994. Currently, Sasa also holds the position of Research Coordinator at Institut za reumatologiju and is actively involved in academic governance at the University of Belgrade as a member of the Scientific Area Council for Medical Sciences and Deputy President of the Doctoral Studies Program Council for Biomedical Engineering and Technology. In addition, Sasa is the Board Vice President for the Serbian Brain Council. Previous experience includes a research fellowship at the Centre for Musculoskeletal Research at Gavle University, Sweden, and a PhD program at the National Institute for Working Life, Medical Faculty, Umea University, Sweden. Sasa Radovanovic holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Umea, a Master of Science in Neurophysiology from the University of Belgrade, and a Doctor of Medicine from the same institution.
