Julie Fryatt

As Director of People, Julie is responsible for developing the university’s staffing strategies.

She joins the university from Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust where she was Director of Workforce and Organisational Development. Prior experience includes Human Relations (HR) Director roles at Aviva and the Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust and senior HR roles at the University of East Anglia, American Express, and Granada TV.

Julie is an alumnus of Brighton Polytechnic, with a BA in Business Studies. She has a Master's in HR Strategy. She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, the highest level of membership for HR and learning and development professionals.
