Ed Fay

Ed Fay is a seasoned library services professional with extensive experience in academic institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Library Services and University Librarian at the University of Bristol since November 2019, Ed Fay has also held interim and deputy roles within the same department. Previous positions include Associate Director of Collections and Digital Scholarship at the University of Southampton and Associate Director of Digital Scholarship and Innovation at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Early career roles include Executive Director of the Open Preservation Foundation, Digital Library Manager at LSE, and Research Fellow and Software Developer at the University of Southampton. Ed Fay holds a Master of Science in Information Science from UCL and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Southampton.
