Joe Williams

Joe Williams is a seasoned academic in the field of Human Geography, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol since September 2025. Prior to this role, Joe held similar positions at Cardiff University from September 2021 to August 2025 and at the University of Bristol from September 2020 to October 2021. Joe's academic journey includes serving as an Assistant Professor and Teaching Fellow at Durham University from October 2016 to September 2020 and as a PhD Candidate at the University of Manchester from October 2013 to September 2016. Joe began postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh, specializing in Environment and Development, after completing a Geography degree at The University of Manchester in 2011 and participating in a study abroad exchange at the University of Melbourne.
