Simon Gamble

Simon Gamble possesses extensive experience in academic support and the arts. Currently serving as the Head of Academic Study Skills at the University of Bristol since November 2016, Simon also holds the title of University Academic Study Skills Developer. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a Learning Support Tutor at the University of Portsmouth from September 2011 to November 2016 and as a Resources Technician at The Arts Centre, Brunel University between April 2008 and July 2011, where responsibilities included class setup, material preparation, teaching, and exhibition installation. Simon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Arts University Bournemouth (2011-2016), a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Surrey (1990-1993), and a BSc Hon in Applied Biology from Coventry University (1986-1990).
