Hatem Abou-Zeid

Hatem Abou-Zeid is an accomplished academic and industry professional, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. With a strong background in software engineering and system design, Hatem has held significant roles as a 5G System Designer at Ericsson and as a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship and various roles at Queen's University, including Research Assistant and Instructor/Teaching Fellow. Hatem began their career with a research internship at Bell Laboratories. Hatem holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University and has completed a Self Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree in Artificial Intelligence from Udacity.
