Jaya Dixit

Jaya Dixit is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the academic research landscape. Currently serving as the Manager of EDI in Research at the University of Calgary, Jaya Dixit collaborates with colleagues to implement inclusive practices in research design and administration. Previous roles include Project Manager for the Presidential Task Force on EDI, EDI Advisor at the Office of Research Services, and Graduate Academic and International Specialist in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Jaya Dixit also has a background in policy and communications through positions held at the Government of Canada. Holding a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Jaya Dixit employs a strong understanding of systemic issues to enhance research environments for equity-deserving groups.
