Jessa Mae Gualter

Jessa Mae Gualter is a Clinical Islet and Tissue Specialist at Alberta Health Services, focusing on human islet cell isolation and tissue recovery for transplantation purposes since August 2022. Jessa has extensive experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant at DynaLIFE Medical Labs, where responsibilities include microbiology specimen processing and testing. Prior roles include support during the COVID-19 pandemic at Alberta Precision Laboratories, intervention and program leadership at the Centre for Autism Services Alberta, and research assistance at the University of Alberta. Academically, Jessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Alberta and a diploma in Medical Laboratory Assisting from NAIT.
