Sayan Nath

Sayan Nath is a skilled machine learning practitioner with a diverse range of experience spanning research and development. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, Sayan focuses on fairness and accuracy in machine learning models. Prior to this, Sayan worked as a Technical Content Reviewer and Problem Setter Intern at Scaler, and completed a Google Summer of Code project at TensorFlow, where implementations and tutorials were developed in TensorFlow and Keras. Sayan has held various roles including Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Blend.to and Juppiter AI Labs, where responsibilities included creating computer vision services and deploying models. Further experience includes software development roles and leadership positions in student organizations, emphasizing collaboration and practical solutions in machine learning and mobile development. Sayan holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering with a focus on machine learning from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
