Dick Savich has an extensive academic and professional background in accountancy. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor and Academic Director for the Masters of Professional Accountancy Program at the University of California Riverside since 2008, Savich is also the President and Founder of ABKO Consulting, a position held since 1998. Previous roles include Associate Professor at California State University San Bernardino from 2005 to 2010, Trustee for the California Society of CPAs/CalCPA Education Foundation from 2005 to 2009, and Adjunct Professor at Claremont Graduate University from 2001 to 2009. Dick Savich earned a PhD in Accountancy from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
