Louie Rodriguez

Louie Rodriguez serves as the Vice Provost and Dean of the Division of Undergraduate Education at the University of California, Riverside since June 2016, and holds the Bank of America Chair in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Practice. Rodriguez's academic career includes numerous roles at various institutions, such as Interim Dean and Professor at the UCR Graduate School of Education from July 2019 to August 2022, and previous positions at California State University, San Bernardino, and Florida International University. A focus on educational leadership is evident through Rodriguez's involvement as the Principal Investigator for The PRAXIS Project and contributions to the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education. Educational qualifications include an Ed.D. in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy, alongside multiple Master's degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Education, enhancing expertise in urban education, policy, and psychology.
