Rodolfo Torres

Rodolfo Torres is currently the Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development at University of California, Riverside. Dr. Torres has been a University Distinguished Professor at The University of Kansas from August 1996 to August 2019. Prior to that, they were a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan from August 1992 to August 1996. Rodolfo also spent two years as a Visiting Member at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences from August 1990 to August 1992. Dr. Torres began their academic career as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Washington University in St. Louis from August 1989 to August 1990.

Rodolfo Torres received their Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis.

They work with Wes Mallette - Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor, Deborah Deas - Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences and Dean. Rodolfo Torres reports to Gerry Bomotti, Vice Chancellor for Planning, Budget, and Administration.
