Yazleen Alonso

Yazleen Alonso, M.Ed, currently serves as the Financial Wellness Program Manager at the University of California, Riverside, where responsibilities include developing financial literacy programming for over 20,000 undergraduates, managing student caseloads regarding financial aid, and overseeing a budget for various programmatic needs. Previous experience includes roles as a Financial Wellness Administrative Consultant and Graduate Counselor Intern at the University of California, Los Angeles, where Yazleen supported diverse student populations through financial coaching initiatives and collaboration with campus programs. Earlier work with the Val Verde Unified School District includes tutoring and substitute teaching, fostering learning environments for students. Yazleen holds a Master of Education in Student Affairs from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside.
