Afsaneh Ahmadi

Afsaneh Ahmadi, PE, CBO, currently serves as the Campus Building Official at the University of California, San Francisco, a position held since April 2020. Prior to this role, Afsaneh accumulated significant experience at the City of San Diego from 1985 to April 2020, where responsibilities included Chief Building Official, Deputy Director, Project Submittal and Permit Issuance Manager, as well as roles in structural engineering and plan review. Afsaneh holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida.
