Caroline Wilson

Caroline Wilson is currently a PhD candidate in the Tetrad Program at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on biochemistry, genetics, cell biology, and molecular biology. Prior to this role, Caroline served as a scientist in genome engineering and as an associate scientist in diabetes and functional genomics at The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute. Additional experience includes an associate researcher position at Mount Sinai Health System in the Department of Neuroscience and volunteer leadership at MaineGeneral Health. Throughout the academic career, Caroline has engaged in research on genetic variants and stem cell-derived pancreatic beta cells, leading to published work in esteemed scientific journals. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Colby College, complemented by a brief study at Columbia University.
