Debbie Yi Madhok serves as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, since September 2015, with a specialization in enhancing the recognition and management of neurological emergencies. In addition, Debbie holds the position of Director for the Emergency Stroke Program at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, starting in March 2018. Prior to these roles, Debbie gained experience as an Emergency Medicine Attending and Neurocritical Care Fellow at Penn Medicine from July 2013 to June 2015, and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital from July 2009 to June 2013. Early career experiences include working as an Economic Development Consultant at Appleseed Consulting Ltd. and as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Debbie earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Brown University and a Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
