Matthew Kan

Matthew Kan is an accomplished medical professional and researcher with extensive experience in pediatrics and immunology. Currently serving as an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics and Allergy Immunology Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, Matthew Kan focuses on integrating medical expertise with clinical and immunological informatics as a big data scientist in the lab of Atul Butte, MD, PhD. Previous roles include a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and leadership positions within the Buck Scholars Association, where Matthew Kan served as both a board member and president. Matthew Kan holds a Doctor of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology from Duke University School of Medicine, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard University.
