Sourav Bandyopadhyay

Sourav Bandyopadhyay is a Professor at the University of California, San Francisco since December 2010, specializing in high-throughput screening and computational technologies to tackle challenges in cancer therapy, particularly in breast and lung cancers. Sourav serves as Co-Leader of the Molecular Oncology Program at the UCSF Cancer Center and Co-Director of the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics Graduate Program. As a Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Rezo Therapeutics from April 2022 to September 2024, Sourav led the development of an AI/ML-driven platform for mapping novel protein interactions. Previous roles include consultant positions at REVOLUTION Medicines and IDEAYA Biosciences, and a bioinformatics role at NIH. Sourav earned a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from UC San Diego and holds a BS in Molecular Biology and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
