Agnes Balla

Agnes Balla, MPP, has extensive experience in research policy analysis and coordination, currently serving as the Director at the University of California Office of the President since August 2015. Prior roles include Research Policy Manager and Research Policy Analyst within the same office, and Health Policy Analyst at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from March 2014 to June 2015. Agnes also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and worked as a Teacher at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory. Earlier experience includes serving as a Health Promotion Intern at the University Health Services, Tang Center UC Berkeley, and as a Program Coordinator at Leah's Pantry, Inc. Academically, Agnes holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health with a Minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Agnes participated in a summer program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
