Glenda Humiston

Glenda Humiston is an accomplished leader in agriculture and natural resources, currently serving as Vice President for the University of California Office of the President since August 2015, overseeing the California Agricultural Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension. With extensive experience in both public and private sectors, Humiston previously held the role of California State Director for USDA Rural Development, managing a $1+ billion budget and over 130 employees. Other notable positions include Deputy Under Secretary at USDA, Senior Partner at AGvocate Consulting Services, and Executive Director of Sonoma County Farmlands Group. Humiston holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy & Management from UC Berkeley, an M.S. in International Agricultural Development from UC Davis, and a B.S. in Agriculture from Colorado State University.
