Mark Robinson is a Partner at Centerview Partners, a leading global investment banking firm. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch & Co and was responsible for its global investment banking healthcare practice. For nearly 30 years, Mr. Robinson has provided strategic advice to the world’s most prominent and innovative healthcare companies, particularly those in the biotechnology and medical device industries.
Mr. Robinson has been active in higher education issues since he was a student. He is a past Chairman of the Board of the College of Letters and Sciences at UC Berkeley as well as member of the Board of Trustees of the UC Berkeley Foundation. Together with his wife Stephanie, he established the Robinson Program in Life Science Business and Entrepreneurship; a dual degree undergraduate program between the Haas School of Business and the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley.
Mr. Robinson is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Board of the Thacher School in Ojai, California. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelors Degree from UC Berkeley.
He was appointed as a Regent in July 2022 by Governor Newsom to a term expiring in 2034.
