Norm Hamill has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Managing Counsel for Risk Litigation at the University of California Office of the President since February 2006. Throughout this tenure, Norm has held several interim roles, including Deputy General Counsel for Litigation and Capital Strategies. In addition to this position, Norm has been a board member and Assistant Corporate Secretary at FIAT LUX RISK AND INSURANCE COMPANY since January 2017. Norm's previous roles include serving as Corporate Secretary at both Los Alamos National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from March 2011 to November 2016, as well as working as a Senior Attorney at CNA Insurance from 2003 to 2006, and attorney positions at Cooley LLP and Gordon & Rees LLP. Norm earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
