Harbinder Singh Birdi

Harbinder Singh Birdi is a founder and Creative Director at Birdi & Partners, a London-based consultancy that specializes in design advisory services for government bodies, academic institutions, and the private sector. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at the University of Cambridge, Birdi lectures on the interdisciplinary approach to architecture and infrastructure projects. In addition, Birdi holds trustee and advisory roles with the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, the Centre for the New Midlands, and the Design Council, contributing expertise in governance, strategic guidance, and design procurement. Birdi is also an active member of various design review panels for councils and organizations such as the London Borough of Camden and HS2, providing critical feedback on significant infrastructure and architectural proposals. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Manchester and an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice from RIBA.
