Lili Jia is the Head of the Sustainable Innovation Lab and a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge since November 2015. In this role, Lili leads interdisciplinary research on material reduction in industries and has developed a novel approach to quantifying the environmental impact of carbon tax across various sectors. Lili's previous positions include Research Fellow at the University of London, where Lili focused on dietary transition and sustainability, and Senior Researcher at Bonn University's Center for Development Research, managing a research project on urban water demand. Lili also possesses extensive experience from a doctoral and postdoctoral researcher role at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development, along with financial consulting expertise from the China United Assets Appraisal Group. Lili holds a Doctor of Economics from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg and a Master of International Trade from China Agricultural University.
