Sophie Busch

Sophie Busch is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Cambridge Conservation Initiative and the University of Cambridge since April 2021, Sophie has established a robust network within a complex partnership environment. Prior to this, Sophie held the position of Head of Communications at The Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire, where leadership was demonstrated by overseeing a team of five and managing external relationships. Sophie's background includes key roles in organizations such as Melanoma Focus, Cancer Research UK, and Macmillan Cancer Support, where significant contributions were made in communication strategies, brand development, and multimedia production. Educationally, Sophie holds a BA(Hons) in TV & Video Production from Bournemouth University and has completed a leadership program focused on remarkable leadership skills.
